?bots=. They play for real, but nothing from this game reaches the hall of fame, the season table or a playlist. Drop ?bots= from the address to seat humans instead. How it works: one box has the prize in it. Exactly one player is told they're holding it β everybody else is told theirs is empty. Hang onto the winning box until the buzzer and it's +1000. Nobody knows who has it but the holder, and the holder would very much like to keep it that way.
πͺ Nobody's box just sits on their screen. Every phone shows the same shut lid β identical wording, identical colour, full or empty. Press and hold to slide it up, and it drops the second you let go. Glancing at somebody else's phone tells you nothing.
ποΈ One peek a round β that's it. Look straight away and you'll know where the box started, but not where it went. Save it and you can check the one box you took off somebody. After it's spent the door still opens, but all it shows is what you saw and how many times your box has changed hands since. Nobody, including the big screen, is ever told who peeked or when.
π€ Grabs aren't negotiable. Tap a player and your boxes swap on the spot β no refusing, no trade-backs. You get a fresh handful every round. The room is told who grabbed but never who from β otherwise anyone with a decent memory could just follow the box around the table all night. Only the two of you know, and only one of you is upset about it.
β³ A grab buys you seven seconds. Any grab by anyone locks CALL IT for 7s, with a countdown everyone can see β so being robbed doesn't hand the room a free answer while the thief is still holding their phone. Grabs also shut off before the buzzer, which guarantees there's always a clean window to put it to a vote.
π³οΈ Calling it is a gamble. Anyone can hit CALL once a round and freeze the trading. If the room's top vote lands on the real holder, everyone who named them banks +750 (and the person who called it gets +250 on top). Get it wrong β or split the vote β and the holder walks away with +2000 instead. There's no safe "let's just reshuffle": the round always pays somebody.
π The final showdown: the top two square off over one last box. The player who's behind gets to see what's inside it. The leader is blind β but may force one swap at any moment in the next 30 seconds. Sit very still.
